What is a Konex retreat?
A Konex retreat is a guided outdoor experience designed to help you disconnect from daily stress and reconnect with yourself, others, and nature. It is not just a hike. It is a structured experience that combines movement, reflection, and shared moments.
Do I need to be fit or experienced?
No. Experiences are designed with all levels in mind and you are not pushed beyond your limits. Activities are accessible, flexible, and challenging enough to keep you engaged.
What kind of activities will we do?
Each experience may include guided hikes or nature walks, light challenges or group activities, reflection moments, and time to relax and take in the environment. Nothing forced. No awkward games. No pressure to perform.
Can I come alone?
Yes, and a lot of people do. You will be joining others who are also looking to reset, meet like-minded people, and step out of routine. If you are waiting to find someone to go with, you are delaying for no reason.
What should I bring?
Konex keeps it simple: comfortable clothing, proper footwear (running shoes or hiking shoes), water, and weather-appropriate layers. You will receive a full checklist after booking.
Where are the retreats located?
Konex hosts experiences in natural locations across Canada, including Ontario (Toronto and Ottawa regions) and Quebec. All locations are selected for accessibility, safety, and quality of experience.
How long are the experiences?
Options include half-day (3 to 4 hours) and full-day (6 to 8 hours), plus multi-day adventures. Long enough to reset. Short enough to fit your schedule.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Konex runs in most conditions, because nature is not always perfect. Light rain or cooler weather means the experience continues. Severe weather means it is rescheduled. If you are expecting perfect weather, you will always find a reason not to go.
Is it safe?
Yes. All experiences are guided and planned, held in safe and accessible locations, and designed with all levels in mind. You are not being pushed beyond your limits.
Will I feel out of place if I don't know anyone?
No. Everyone shows up for the same reason: to disconnect and to reset. There is no pressure to be social, but most people naturally connect through the experience.
What is the group size?
Konex keeps groups small to maintain quality, typically 6 to 12 people. This is not a crowded tour, it is an intentional experience.
How do I book?
